Servant Leadership at Camp Pendleton

I just had the privilege of meeting to discuss Servant Leadership and Kindness with LtCol Chris Haar, Commanding Officer of the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion and his company commanders at Camp Pendleton.

I was able to give them all copies of Servant Leadership in Action.

These marines knew many of the contributors including Simon Sinek (Leaders Eat Last) and John Maxwell (Developing The Leader Within You 2.0), and, of course, Ken Blanchard.

I learned from them their commitment to servant leadership that builds trust and confidence up and down the chain of command. I am proud that so much of the training and lessons in Servant Leadership in Action is applicable within this elite team of leaders.
